Gholam Mohiuddin

Gholam Mohiuddin is a Canadian citizen. He obtained B.A (Honors) and M.A degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In Toronto, he further studied a Computer network course as well as MCP, MCSA and MCSE. Gholam Mohiuddin at present is working with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term care in Toronto.

In Bangladesh, he served as Deputy Director of the National Book Center, Ministry of Cultural Affairs for several years. While holding this post, he attended Sharja (U.A.E), International book fair, New Delli international book fair and Calcutta book fair as the representative of the government of Bangladesh.

He is an essayist and a creative writer. Most of his writings were published in various journals in Bangladesh. His recent informative writing has been included in the book of 'Md. Darvesh Ali SmarakGrantha', published in 2008.

He is the Vice-President of Canada Ahsania Mission, Toronto, Canada.

He is the founder Director of 'Ahsania Public Library', Nalta Sharif, Satkhira, Bangladesh.

Gholam Mohiuddin is the youngest son of M. Jauharally, a distinguished social worker, well-to-do man and first elected secretary of Ahsania Mission (1935-1977). He was born in Nalta Sharif under the district of Satkhira, Bangladesh. Now he is living in Toronto, Canada.
